We strive to strengthen our community’s response to child abuse by combining professional expertise across multiple fields. We believe that working together leads to stronger investigations, better protection for children, and healthier communities.
Our Core Values
Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center works with a clear set of values that guide our services:
Our Story
Safe Harbor CAC opened in December 2020 after community leaders recognized the need for a coordinated response to child abuse. Child abuse is complex and requires teamwork.
Our center brings together law enforcement, the Department of Child Services, prosecution, medical professionals, mental health providers, and victim advocates. This collaboration ensures that children receive the protection and services they need without unnecessary stress or repeated questioning.
Our name reflects our purpose. Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center is a safe place for children to find comfort while professionals investigate allegations of abuse.
